Their chemistry contains carbon (0.24-0.31%), manganese (0.79-1.30%), phosphorus (≤0.035%), and sulfur (≤0.035%), providing strength and durability. The plates possess good mechanical properties, including a tensile strength of 380-515 MPa, a yield strength of ≥220 MPa, and elongation of 21% (in 200mm). They have good weldability and toughness and thus are suitable for high-temperature conditions.
